We wanted to start a pop cover band that stood out from the crowd on all levels. That’s how SmokeMachine was founded. 

Our basic concept is playing the same kind of pop music that DJ’s play in clubs, but with a live band. Getting new pop music to actually sound good live is a pretty big challenge, which is why very few bands do this. 

Just like all the big pop artists today, we use well produced backing tracks to fill out the elements in the music that just can’t be done live. This, combined with our fantastic live band, results in a thick sound that makes people want to get up and dance. 

We also have a programmed light/smoke show that lifts the whole experience of our show.

The band is based in Finland and consists of four musicians by profession who all have more than 10 years of stage experience.
At a SmokeMachine gig you can expect to dance to your favourite pop songs combined with a lot of smoke, a proper light show and real good vibes.
